On your first visit to our office, I have some brief paperwork for you to fill out. You can download and complete the paperwork from above and bring it with you. This paperwork will provide me with information about yourself and your health.
After the paperwork is completed, we will then discuss your goals and ensure that I can offer what you are looking for. If we are a good ‘match’ I will then take a detailed history and complete a thorough chiropractic examination. Depending on what is found during the examination I may recommend x-rays in order to further assess the nature of the problem. These x-rays will help rule out more serious conditions or assist me in developing the most effective treatment plan.
I typically do not adjust you on your first visit as I want to ensure we have had a chance to review your history, examination findings and any x-rays taken. Then on your second visit I will sit down with you, explain what is happening, and if Chiropractic can help. If your case is not a Chiropractic case, you will be referred to the appropriate person. If Chiropractic can help you, I will discuss the course of action, including the necessary treatment schedule, home exercises and stretches. Then if you choose to begin Chiropractic care, you will receive your first adjustment, and your path to regaining your health will start.
